Modelling of Bidirectional Three-Phase Four-Wire Three-Level NPC MLC under Single-Loop Current Sensorless Control

Single-loop current sensorless control allows for abolishing of the instantaneous measurement in system using only a single loop with voltage feedback to stabilise DC-bus voltage. This approach eliminates sensors circuit, benefiting from saving space on printed circuit board and minimising power dissipation circuitry. paper focuses single-loop applied bidirectional three-phase four-wire three-level NPC MLC by simulation analysis demonstrates performance proposed algorithm rectifier inverter modes step response direction change grid-voltage change. In capacitor balancing, an additional controller is applied, which capable compensating asymmetry caused adding 2.5 kOhm resistor parallel one capacitors. Our results demonstrate good method both modes, showing stable shape low full acceptable harmonics content, meeting requirements IEC 61000-3-2 standard Class A devices. The showed that suitable industrial application.
